The value of defined limits
In addition to describing the companion's identity, the builder allows users to specify what it should avoid. This distinguishes a character that respects a boundary from one that disregards it.
Drawbacks
The service is available only in a browser, and no price is published before registration. The community gallery is extensive but varies considerably in quality; for testing, a custom character was created instead.
An extended scene
A single scene was sustained for more than forty messages, during which the setting, the defined limit and the character's voice all remained intact. With Joi, a scene of that length would have required the premise to be restated repeatedly.
