Affiliate Disclosure

This site earns commissions on some links. The following explains how that works and the limits we place on it.

How commissions are earned

When a reader follows one of our marked links and purchases a paid plan, the provider may pay us a commission. The price the reader pays is not affected.

What commissions do not influence

Ratings, ranking positions and pros-and-cons lists are determined before any commercial correspondence takes place. Providers cannot purchase a better position, request the removal of a criticism, or arrange for a competitor to be dropped. Apps that have no affiliate program undergo the identical evaluation. At present, two of the seven ranked apps pay us nothing.

Each affiliate link includes the sponsored attribute in the page source and is accompanied by a visible notice.

The two apps that pay nothing

Both remain in the ranking because their results warrant it. Commission income funds web hosting and the paid subscriptions used for testing; it is never used to secure a higher score.
